GMV5 Modular System

GMV5 DC Inverter Multi VRF System with its high-efficient ALL DC Inverter compressors has four excellent features which are different from those found on traditional inverter air conditioners: higher energy-saving operation, more reliable and precise operation, smarter network control, providing users with best air conditioning experience. Max capacity of single outdoor unit reaches 22HP and max combination capacity is even up to 88HP, in an industry leading level. GMV5 can extend to a wider applicable location by combining 4 outdoor modules with up to 110 indoor units. The result is realization of independent cooling or heating in different rooms, especially for business buildings and hotels.

GMV 5 offers an increased level of installation versatility due to the big height and length of piping, as well as wide range of indoor units to choose from.

Wide temperature operation range: The units can operate in a wide ambient temperature range decreasing thus capacity loss due to outdoor temperature.

Sensorless DC Inverter Fan Motor: The indoor unit adopts high-efficiency brushless DC motor. Compared with conventional motor, the efficiency of brushless DC motor is improved by more than 30% Meanwhile, the design of evaporation capacity flow is optimized through emulation software of refrigeration system and the heat exchange amount of evaporator is greatly improved.

New generation Mini GMV5 known for its compact design , low operation noise and simple installation with wide variety of indoor units it is suitable and ideal for small residential as well as commercial applications. The special characteristics of Mini GMV5 focus on the following:

Simple installation and design:

  • Max total piping length: 150m
  • Max total piping length between outdoor and indoor unit: 70m
  • Max height difference between indoor units: 10m
  • Max height difference between outdoor and indoor units: 30m
  • Max height difference between first branch and last indoor unit: 25m

Reliable heating: Strong heating capacity under an ambient temperature as low as – 20C.  The system automatically increases the heating capacity by 15% when the environment temperature drops below a set temp level.

Auto Quiet Operation: The automatic silent operation of Mini GMV5 is ensured to operate with lowest noise by ultra – low fan speed auto adjustment according to the system parameters. Under this conditions operation of the fan motor and compressor speed are reduced, lowering operation noise level by 3dB(A).

Wide voltage and temperature operation range: The units can operate:

DC Inverter VRF GMV5 Slim is the perfect solution solution in central air conditioning systems for special applications appartments , houses, offices and shops. Capacity range from 7HP to 12HP allows multiple modular combination possibilities. Flexible indoor units choises according to various decoration requirements. Easier, cost-saving, faster installation thanks to small size outline dimensions. The new generation of GMV5 Slim offers increased installation flexibility at height and pipe length:

Adoptes high-performance compressor wich greately improoves energy efficiency, maintainig quite levels of noise during operation. Compressors are designed to operate normally in a wide temperature range thus reducing power loss and maintaining a high performance level.

GREE Modular GMV5 Heat Recovery series with modular installation capability design of up to 180kW in combination to the wide range of indoor unit choices offers an advanced solution for medium and big commercial applications. GMV-Pdhm heat recovery series breaks the limits of classic VRF applications, since indoor units can operate under both cooling and heating operation at the same time. Energy saving takes place from the recovery of energy that would be traditionally released in the environment, that is uniquely recovered and channeled for the alternative operation purpose in spaces that require it and vice versa, under five different operation combinations.

GMV5 Home is the new generation of multi VRF system developed by GREE, which breaks the barrier of traditional VRF system by integrating three basic functions: “central air conditioning + hot sanitary water + floor heating”. A unique system which offers five different options according to your requirements and comfort:

  • Cooling only
  • Heating only
  • Water heating only
  • Cooling and water heating
  • Heating and water heating

Operating temperature ranges from  -15°C~ 43°C, the capacity of outdoor units ranges from 10kW to 28 kW. This system achieves high energy efficiency level with ECOP up to 6.6. Other main features like:

  • DC Ιnverter technology, driving Twin Rotary and Scroll compressors for increased energy efficiency.
  • Environment-friendly refrigerant R410A
  • Heat recovery technology greatly improve the entire system cost efficiency.
  • A wide selection of indoor units will cover all installation site demands.
  • Production of sanitary or heating hot water. A pioneering technology for VRF systems uniquely patented by GREE.
